My absolute favorite memory of Chris is sort of a bitter sweet moment. Chris called me after NXR and had to let me know that even though I was close, I wouldn’t be able to letter this year. But the thing that stuck with me from that conversation was how kind and supportive Chris was. He reminded me of how hard I worked, and how much he believed in me. It was difficult news to get, but I wouldn’t have wanted to hear it any other way.
