March 23, 2018, the day the Wayzata girls distance team ran the infamous workout on dog park hill. The treacherous winds combined with the end of term finals left many feeling unmotivated. Chris, like usual, brought his lighthearted, humorous, yet go-getter attitude to the hill that day. On this day I was feeling friskier than the rest of my training group and Chris picked up on this. He ran with me up the some of the hills, pushed the pace slightly, and encouraged me to crush the workout! From the training advice to the drone footage to the motivational Monday emails, Chris always seems to exceed our expectations. In his short time on this team, he has impacted so many lives and contributed so much to structure and mindset of this program. Chris will always have a place in Wayzata Cross Country, but I can’t wait to see what he will do as part of Middleton’s program!!
